Graduated from The School of Arts and Media at Salford University, England with a BA Second Class Hons Degree in  English Language and Literature in 1998.

EDI Cert TEFL Level 5 (CELTA Equivalent) at Manchester Academy of English in 2012.

Before settling in Turkey in 2012 worked in England, Australia, Cyprus.
